lenscrafters, yay =D

omg so apparently glasses can make you sooo happy! gone are the days of being called 4 eyes, now you can get your glasses in 1 hour, any pair that you want, and your happiness is guaranteed. GUARANTEED. meaning if your not happy, you can change them until you are. pretty sweet deal, i think.

the message- buy our glasses, and you'll be happy. the ad is catering to glasses wearers, and people who may need glasses (get your eyes checked here while you're at it!) this ad is dripping with energy, not only are the people smiling, dancing around, jumping, winking etc, the text in the ad is yellow, which is usually a color of happiness and/or energy. the people in the ad are white, but there was one black guy (the one jumping over the words.) happy upbeat music and a cheery woman's voice contribute to that 'feel good' mood. i feel the ad is pretty logical, the happiness guarantee is obviously a bit exaggerated, but for the most part, i think its legit. i wear glasses, so i like the fact that i can wear them for 30 days and if i don't like them, get a new pair. glasses are like a car, you need to test drive them before actually committing. you're wearing these things all the time, they need to look good. word up.

It is a neat commercial where they are trying to sell happiness in the shape of glasses. But one thing that I see in this commercial is that their target is only young men and women. Why not elderly and children? I think the message here is that their glasses are for middle class people at affordable prices; a necessity at affordable price that guarantee happiness

I think it's kind of funny how they say "you'll see, we're better". As if to say that any other eye wear company cant possibly make you happy and they obviously can. Therefore, they're better.

Lenscrafters are definitely selling happiness effectively. The people in the ad are so happy and are constantly smiling. Also, I agree that the upbeat and cheery music and woman's voice contribute to the general tone of the ad. Also, it's interesting that they make glasses look hip and fun because a lot of people try to get contacts and avoid wearing glasses, also like you mentioned, some younger kids get made fun of for wearing glasses.

great video, people choose to having lens more than glasses, because they think lenses looks much prettier, but in this ad, it made me want to have the glasses, because it has a lot guarantee!
